B.The strategy for responding to an influenza pandemicPlanning for the next pandemic is based on a set of assumptions that have been defined using the best scientific and medical evidence. Planning is in place to reassess these assumptions as quickly as possible as the pandemic emerges. This is to allow time to adjust our responses if the pandemic virus appears to be behaving slightly differently than the initial assumptions would have suggested.
